PONSONG the living wood

The living wood

It is night, and the wood goes on further than anyone has walked it. Somewhere out there a village still has its lamps lit, and everything you can carry back to it is worth something. Until you sell it. Then the price moves.

$PONSONG

The token lives on the launchpad. The wood does not need it, does not ask for it, and plays exactly the same without it.

A NIGHT'S WORK

Go out with an empty bag. Come back with something the village wants. That is the whole game, and every part of it changes the part after it.

Step one

GO OUT

Grass moves where you walk. Mushrooms lean away. Trees you stand behind fade so you can still see yourself. It is a painting you are walking through, and it goes on as far as you are willing to.

Step two

TAKE WHAT IT GIVES

Moonwood on the ground, sunpetal in the open, crystal you can see from a clearing away. Every swing dulls your tool a little, so a full bag is a decision, not a habit.

Step three

FIND THE LAMPS

There is a village a short walk from where you wake up. Houses, a well, a shrine, and a hollow tree with a counter in it. You will see the light before you see the roofs.

Step four

SELL, AND WATCH IT MOVE

Sell four sunpetal and the fifth is worth less. Come back an hour later and it has recovered, because someone else has been buying while you were away.

WHAT THE WOOD GIVES UP

Common things pay for the walk. Two of them are rationed. The wood yields only so many a season, and when they are gone they are gone until it turns.

MOONWOOD

Fallen, pale, everywhere. The blacksmith never stops wanting it, which is what makes it worth stooping for.

SUNPETAL

Opens in the clearings, two to a stand. The herbalist goes through more of it than the wood can grow.

SPIRIT RESIN

Beads out of broken stumps and catches the lantern. Scarce enough that the price notices when you arrive.

ECHO CRYSTAL

Shards standing out of the ground, visible across a clearing. Rationed by the season, and worth the detour.

ANCIENT SEED

Six a season. In the entire wood. Something inside it is still growing, and it sells for what that implies.

FRAGMENTS OF OLD LIGHT

Caught in the grass, taken just by walking through them. Nobody will buy these. They are only yours.

YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE BUYING

The Merchant Tree holds stock, and the price is what that stock says it is. Two others work the same shelves on their own hours, so the board has changed by the time you walk back in.

THE HERBALIST

Takes sunpetal and spirit resin off the shelf whether you are there or not. Clear her out and see what the price does to the next person carrying some.

THE BLACKSMITH

Moonwood for the handles, echo crystal for the edge. Two buyers pulling in different directions is what makes a price worth reading at all.

MAKE SOMETHING BETTER

Lantern oil, a repair kit, a seed charm. Crafting eats the material for good. It leaves the world instead of piling up in it, and the finished thing is worth more than its parts.

YOUR TOOL WEARS OUT

Every harvest costs an edge. Pay the counter in gold to bring it back, or make a kit and pay in material. Either way, tonight's work funds tomorrow's.

THE WOOD REMEMBERS YOU

Your level, your gold, everything in your bag and every place you have found are kept for next time. Connect an EVM wallet on Robinhood Chain and your address is the name on that save.

IDENTITY, NOT FINANCE

Ponsong never asks your wallet to sign, send or spend anything. There is no token, no contract, no transaction anywhere in it. Connecting costs you nothing at all.

ONE SAVE PER ADDRESS

Switch accounts in your wallet and you switch saves. A different level, a different bag, a different night's work waiting where you left it.

CONNECT NOW, OR LATER

You can hook your wallet up right here before you start, or from inside the game with P at any time. It makes no difference which.

Robinhood Chain · nothing is ever signed or spent

OR JUST PLAY
